Lacy Sinedot Background

  • My Sinedot CFG File
    Description: Create a lacy background tile with Sinedots II, Simple Filters, and FM Tile Tools.
  • Preparation: Download and install the filters that you don't already have. Download and unzip the cfg file for sinedots. Unzip it to the same folder where you keep your sinedot II filter.

    1. Create a new solid color canvas, 200 X 200.
    2. Go to edit/ fill, and choose two colors  that work well together. I've used pink and blue here. 
     

    3. Go to effect/ dragonfly sinedots II. 
    4. Open and apply the preset you downloaded for this tutorial.. Sinedot background.
    5. Go to effect/ plugin filters/ simple/ pizza slice mirror. 
    6. Go to effect/ plugin filters/ simple/ diamonds.
    7. Go to effect/ fm tile tools/ blend emboss with these settings.
     
    8. Go to format/ Highlight, Midtone and shadow (tone map in versions 5 and 6) and increase the highlight to 9.
